Hygge Art

Inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, my art invites you to slow down and savour life’s quiet joys. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to evoke feelings of calm, comfort, and contentment, bringing a sense of cozy intimacy into your space.
  • Everyday Life and IntimacyCaptures intimate moments — like sipping coffee or enjoying solitude — that transform the mundane into something deeply meaningful.
  • Comfort and WarmthRadiates warmth with cozy interiors, soft blankets, and glowing light, evoking a sense of both physical and emotional comfort.
  • Nature and HarmonyBlending woodland scenes, candlelight, and textures like wood and wool, creating a sense of harmony between the natural world and cozy spaces.

    About

Emma Forsberg (1983, Australia) has been drawing
more or less her whole life. Many years ago, she
landed in Copenhagen and never left since.

Inspired by the city's beauty, and influenced by
Mads Berg and Elin PK, Emma describes her latest
    collection as nostalgic yet modern.

    FAQ

    What materials do you use?

All works are made on Procreate on an iPad Pro 12.9" with an Apple Pencil. I produce glicée prints of my works using pigment-based inks on cotton rag paper for the highest quality, brightest color reproduction and conveying the minutiae of the works. They are museum and gallery-grade prints. I inspect test prints myself to ensure the details and colours align.

    What sizes are these available?

Prints are available from postcard size all up to large poster formats, e.g. 100x140cm. Most often A4, A3 and A2 sizes are requested. US-formats (e.g. 19 ¾ x 27½ ") are also possible.

Where can I buy the art?

Posterland, Magasin du Nord, Kræss, Illum Bolighus and Bahne frequently display

Emma's work all over Denmark. You can also buy straight from the artist where
